| Creation 30" x 16" / Mahogany The Natural form found in this piece is a direct result of creative intuition. Five minutes after cutting, planning and milling the wooden blank, I felt compelled to sit down with a magic marker and draw the design directly onto the face of the wood. It took less than two minutes to design, and about 100 hours to carve. That is why I call it Creation. I bypassed all rational thought and experienced direct creative energies. It was like plugging into a high voltage force for those two minutes, a wonderful experience. |
