| French Lion 20" x 15" / Native Black Walnut My client wanted a majestic male lion that would clearly display the powerful character required as leader of his pride. This carving became the centerpiece of a beautiful marble faced fireplace mantel which also included are two other 'guardian lions' that are actually the mantelshelf side supports. As you enter this room there is a real spark of life in the eyes as all three lions seem to be staring directly at you, each with it's own unique personality. |
